Fundraisers

Here are ways to help contribute to our school.  All of these projects help keep the cost of tuition down, as well as help with the cost of educational materials and field trips.

Auction

Our school's largest fundraiser, The Auction, which takes place annually each spring, is our school's largest fundraiser. We count on our community, parishioners, alumni, parents and friends to support the auction through their attendance, monetary donations, and/or gifts in kind. Click on the auction link for more details. See the 2010 Beach Bash Below.

Mega Raffle

Each family’s commitment, per the covenant, is to sell $500 worth of raffle tickets.  This year the tickets have been changed to $20 increments.

Campbells Labels for Education

Our school can obtain free educational equipment in exchange for labels from various Campbell's products.  Just deposit your full Campbell labels in the Campbell's bag in the office.

Box Tops for Education

By clipping the Box Top for Education symbol from products such as cereal boxes, nutrition bars, yogurt boxes, and other products, our school can obtain free educational supplies.  Box Tops can be placed in the Campbell's bag in the office.

NEW RECYCLING PROGRAM

EARN MONEY FOR ST. MARY SCHOOL

Beginning March 9th, you can recycle paper at our school 7 days a week! This new project supports environmental stewardship and is helping us come closer to being a “Green School.

St. Mary School will earn money for paper dropped off at our green and yellow Paper Retriever bins, which will be located off the main drive near the berm of pine trees.

This is an easy way for you to recycle your paper every week and help us raise money for the school. Simply bring your paper and drop it in the bins, which are free to use.

Each bin holds 2 tons of paper. The more material that is deposited, the more the school earns. These bins will be open (and encouraged!) for the use of local residents, businesses, and organizations.

Please spread the word through your neighborhood homeowner's associations, local businesses, and other organizations (scouts, K of C, churches, etc.)

We will accept:

  • Newspaper
  • Magazines
  • Shopping Catalogs
  • Office and School Papers (including colored paper)
  • Mail
  • Shredded Paper No need to remove staples, paper clips, or sticky notes!

We will NOT Accept:

  • Cardboard
  • Plastic
  • Metal
  • Glass
  • Phone Books

If anyone has any questions, or has an interest in helping us out, please contact Lisa Wack 810-231-6116 or Margaret Torongo at the school office 734-878-5616.
By adding recycling to your errand route and bringing your paper to St. Mary, you are helping our school and the environment! Thank you for your support of this important fund-raising and environmental effort
