NEW RECYCLING PROGRAM
EARN
MONEY FOR ST. MARY SCHOOL
Beginning March 9th, you can recycle paper at our school 7
days a week! This new project supports environmental stewardship and is
helping us come closer to being a “Green School.
St. Mary School will earn money for paper dropped off at our green
and yellow Paper Retriever bins, which will be located off the main
drive near the berm of pine trees.
This is an easy way for you to recycle your paper every week and
help us raise money for the school. Simply bring your paper and drop it
in the bins, which are free to use.
Each bin holds 2 tons of paper. The more material that is
deposited, the more the school earns. These bins will be open (and
encouraged!) for the use of local residents, businesses, and
organizations.
Please spread the word through your neighborhood homeowner's
associations, local businesses, and other organizations (scouts, K of C,
churches, etc.)
We will accept:
- Newspaper
- Magazines
- Shopping Catalogs
- Office and School Papers
(including colored paper)
- Mail
- Shredded Paper
No need to remove staples,
paper clips, or sticky notes!
We will
NOT Accept:
- Cardboard
- Plastic
- Metal
- Glass
- Phone Books
If anyone has any questions, or has an interest in helping us
out, please contact Lisa Wack 810-231-6116 or Margaret Torongo at
the school office 734-878-5616.
By adding recycling to your errand route and bringing your paper to
St. Mary, you are helping our school and the environment! Thank you for
your support of this important fund-raising and environmental effort |
